Filter paper (belt filter)

Filter paper are normally used in the engineering manufacturing industry and applications involving filtering coolants, cutting oils, cleaning liquids, and emulsions. Another common application area is water purification.

Cordgarn has extensive experience of belt filters, and we cut rolls to clients’ specifications in terms of both length and width. We work with a range of different materials, including polyester, polypropylene, viscose, and combinations of both viscose and polyester and polyester and polypropylene.

An interesting thing to bear in mind is that different liquids carry different quantities of waste products, so when you change liquids you should also check that you have a belt filter that works well with the new liquid. A poorly functioning filter paper results in poor filtering and less efficient cooling, in turn causing more wear on machines, tools, etc.
